With this LED grow lamp you get the perfect lamp for use in a small closet or grow tent. The lamp is made up of 4 LED bars.
The positioning of the bars on the frame makes the G-bars ideal for lighting a 60 x 60 cm growing area. Because the LEDs are mounted in bars, they are relatively far apart. This and the wide angle at which the light is emitted allows the bars to be hung very close to the plants.
This way you don't have any "transport loss" and you get the best possible return from your lamp.

Dimming function

The G-bars 170 Watt LED bar grow light is equipped with a dimmer with 4 positions. You can use this to set the lamp to 40,60,80 or 100% of the total power. This is a handy feature because the plants need less light in the early stages of the growing cycle than at the end. As the plants grow, you give them more and more light by turning the dimmer up a notch. With the dimming function you can therefore give your plants the right amount of light for every life phase. You not only create a more pleasant climate for the plants, but you also save on your electricity costs.
The dimming function also makes it possible to grow plants with different light needs. Flowering, fruit-bearing plants often need much more light than non-flowering plants such as leafy vegetables and herbs.
The full spectrum of the G-bars makes the lamp suitable for both growing and flowering plants.

Full spectrum leds

The bars are made up of Osram full spectrum LEDs and a few red ones to stimulate flowering. In recent years it has been realized that a plant does better when it is offered a more complete pallet of the color spectrum. Traditional LED lamps focus on red and blue light. These two colors are mainly responsible for the growth and flowering of the plant. But plants seem to have evolved in such a way that the other colors from the full spectrum also contribute. In particular the quality of the end product.
That is why in recent years more LEDs have been developed that emit a wider spectrum of sunlight, the full spectrum.
The Osram LEDs used in the G-bars have a so-called Color Rendering Index of 85.5. This is an index for the approach to sunlight with 100 as the highest score. A CRI of 100 is therefore sunlight.
Not bad, a score of 85.5. Your plants will therefore have a natural green color under the G-bars and not the dark purple hue that you often see under traditional LEDs. Useful for scanning the health of your plants and checking for any pests.
